Long loading times

Why is the wiki loading so slowly today? I don't *think* it's me, since I'm doing okay elsewhere on the web. –3Phen (talk) 01:15, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

The wiki is always kinda slow for me, sometimes I don't even get a response for half a minute. I blame ShoutWiki for that, as they have the servers. --dgelessus ^{(talk · contribs)} 09:27, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Sometimes it's slow, occasionally it goes down entirely. I am not super-impressed by ShoutWiki's service, but then I already said I didn't want to run my own wiki. :) Belford (talk) 21:26, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

From the editor point of view I'd say that ShoutWiki is fine, except maybe for the not-so-great loading times. It doesn't make any huge modifications to the MediaWki system - unlike Wikia, they are extremely annoying with that. I think you can thank Pavitra for that, I'm pretty sure she bought an ad-free upgrade. And yeah, shoutwiki is fine except for the load times, and those come and go. Things have only been unignorably bad that one day. —3Phen (talk) 23:52, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
